Heritage Studio is excited to present to you our most recent additions to our art gallery, the unique works of Caleb McKnight!

Caleb McKnight works exclusively in oils with an emphasis on still life painting.  His training began in Houston, Texas under the guidance of Impressionist painter Jeannine Campbell.  Upon her death, he then studied with Realist painter George Gonzalez.  Today, their teachings are evident in his work that combines the dramatic lighting of Gonzalez’s style with the loose brushwork of Campbell’s.  McKnight seeks out to paint unusual subject matter in a contemporary style that is appealing to all.  After formal training in Texas and exhibitions in Florida, he is now working in northeast Ohio.

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, Heritage Studio and Gallery is celebrating Love with FREE Engagement Sessions!  The first twenty couples to schedule a session with us between February 14th and March 14th 2012 will receive their Engagement Session for free!  This also includes one 8×10 print, two 5×7 prints, and eight wallet prints.  Please call Heritage Studio to set up your appointment.

Heritage Studio and Gallery is proud to present “Elements” featuring the work of Karen Pierson and Cindy Nichols.

Both artists explore the elements of nature in truly creative ways.  Cindy explores nature through striking photographs depicting how nature takes over man’s creations.  Her images have a dramatic, metallic feel to them that are so captivating. Karen shows the power of nature through her interpretations of fire and ice. Her metal creations are so detailed and intricate from all angles.  Her brooches are beautiful pieces of jewelry that can also be hung on the wall as incredible art.

Cindy and Karen’s work will be on view November 11th through December 1st.

Since her debut gallery show in Akron in 2010, Cindy Nichols is quickly becoming one of the premier fine art photographers in the NE Ohio area. She has been exhibited in numerous gallery and juried art shows including the prestigious Reinglass show. Her work has been praised by art critics and academia and is in many private collections across the country. In public she was a first alternate to the highly respected Boston Mills Arts festival, she was one of the four featured artists for the Vintage Canton festival and her work has graced the halls of Akron General Hospital.

It’s that time of year again!  School has started and it’s time to start thinking about your senior pictures.  Luckily, you don’t have to think too hard because your senior pictures are all about you!  They are a great way to showcase your hobbies, interests, style, favorite places, and most of all, your personality.  It’s a chance to be really creative and unique and just have fun!  Here we have a wonderful example from a recent senior session with Rae N.

This session was so much fun and we can’t wait to do many more senior shoots!

We at Heritage Studio and Gallery would like to thank you for your participation in our Fall Stitchery Showcase.  The show was fun, looked great and drew a lot of positive feedback. We couldn’t have done it without you!
