Dave photographed Alex down at Lock IV in Canal Fulton.  You may recall Mr. A from here.  Now for part two…

This is going to be short and sweet cause I have to run…but…remember {M}?  From here?   Well, Dave shot her outdoor session now that we’ve finally had some nice weather.  And I have to tell you–it’s fabulous!

I love the color!  And this dress.

Love those eyes.  Gorgeous.

When a senior walks in the studio, I can never be sure how comfortable she’ll be with having her photo taken.  When {B} told me that she wants to become an actress, I had a feeling it was going to be a good session.  {B} did not disappoint.  Check out this gorgeousness…

Her eyes are just striking.

Rawr!

Thanks {B}.  You are beautiful!  Good luck with all your aspirations.

It’s past my bedtime but I wanted to share a quick peek of Alex’s session.  We will be taking many more images of Alex in a couple weeks but here are a few we caught before baseball uniforms were due.

…and finally, what I think is my favorite…

{M} is the type of girl that you like instantly.  It was great shooting her and watching her have fun with it.  And, check out these eyes!  Piercing!

As the weather failed to cooperate {shocking in Northeastern Ohio, I know) we photographed {M} in the studio.  We are still hoping to get some outdoor shots but for now I wanted to share this adorableness with you.

I wasn’t lying about those eyes.

See, I told you she is fun.

Senior Graduation Photo Announcements

Spring is finally in the air.  It brings so many of the things I love: sunshine, flowers, summertime.  I love sleeping with the windows open and breathing the fresh air.  I love going for walks and heading out for ice cream.  It all just makes me happy.  But, I am quite sure, my happiness pales in comparison to these three.  Congratulations to all the graduating seniors this year.  Good luck and God bless!

Here’s a quick share of three senior announcements I made last week.  {I must admit, they are a little cuter without the blurry parts… but you get the idea.} ;)

Austintown Fitch High School Senior Pictures {K’s Sneak Peek}

{K} is Josh’s cousin but I haven’t seen her in a couple years.  I couldn’t believe when she walked into the studio.  Check her out!  She’s gorgeous!

I was so impressed by Miss {K}.  She is well rounded, so sweet, and definitely going places.

Love the next one.

We headed outdoors for a quick outdoor session.  It was FREEZING but {K} hid it well.

Good luck {K} for the rest of this year and beyond!

I had spoken to {M} a few times before she came into the studio for her session.  It wasn’t until then, though, that I realized I knew her family.  It was fun hearing about how they’ve been.  We had a bit of a crazy day but it all worked out in the end.  {Right, M?}  ;)

We did a few shots in the studio to start…

…and then headed to Canal Park where {M} works.  Here was my perspective:

And here was Gabby’s:

{M} is Orbit, the Aero’s mascot, at almost all games.  I can’ t imagine a job that would be much more fun than that.

After Canal Park we headed out into downtown Akron.  There are probably a million nooks and crannies that make great shots.  The light was fairly intense though so we looked for some shadier spots.

I’m not sure how I’ve lived in Akron my entire life, yet never saw this sign.  Love it.  I figure if I start walking now, I should probably make Hollywood by next December.

There is something about this next one that I really like.  Every now and then when shooting, the wind and light cooperate perfectly to create a shot like this.

Thanks {M}.  It was fun.

The End of an Era {Seniors’ Sneak Peek}

Next year, we are sending Zeke to kindergarten.  It’s killing me already.  I am not ready for it at all…but he clearly is.  As Dave and I shot these sessions for two good friends at Mogadore, I couldn’t help but think that this is my little guy in a few years.  Tear.

They’ve grown up across the street from one another, gone to school together, and played football on the same team.

Good luck to both of you next year.

The Last Senior of the Year (D’s Sneak Peek}

December 21, 2009 by Amy

It’s hard to believe that 2009 is almost over.  The studio has been through so much this past year.  We finished our original space, added an art gallery, expanded the frame shop, redid our website, and shot countless sessions and weddings.  Whew!  It’s been a bit of a whirlwind…but a fun whirlwind.

I am working to finish up all the December sessions this week so there are still one or two more up my sleeve.  But tonight I wanted to share our last senior photographed in 2009.

Meet {D}.  We share a love for TV sitcoms and spent much of the session discussing the hilarity of Everybody Loves Raymond and George Lopez.

Untitled-1

I think this next one might be my favorite of the entire session.  Not a traditional shot…but it’s eye catching.

Thanks {D} and family.  The rest of your pictures will be online soon.
