Baby-to-be & big sister

July 19th, 2008 by Amy Cameron

One of my favorite types of sessions is maternity.  I just love the promise and hope that is wrapped up in that one little belly.  Such a special and blessed time!

I wanted to share a session we did a few days ago.  Big sister Maeva was so cute!  She and her parents played together while I caught as many of the precious moments as I could.

We didn't just pose and shoot pictures...we had much more fun playing.

 Maeva and her Dad:

This one is my favorite:

One of my favorite parts of this shoot is that I shot maternity photos when Maeva was the belly!  Here is a picture from that session (almost two years ago!)  The lighting was more dramatic for this session.

This last one has a funny story.  We gave Maeva marshmallows to try to get her to stand where we wanted and look at her Mommy’s tummy.  I wanted her to peek around her Mom’s back so we thought we could put a marshmallow in her Mom’s pants’ belt.  Here is the result:

Poor little Maeva dug at the treat for a few minutes and then she just gave up!

Baby boy is due in August so check back…hopefully there will be pictures of him soon too!
