I am a photographer.  There is something deep inside of me that loves to create.  Taking people’s lives and moments and time and capturing them in a creative way makes me happy…no estatic.  Spending time with all of you who trust me enough to let us capture your portraits is a part of me that I wouldn’t want to live without.

I am honored…honored that you would consider me/us to be your photographer.  I adore my job and would love to work with you.

I am a wife.  To this man.  We are a perfectly imperfect pair who I like to think are perfect for each other.  He’s almost always right and it drives me crazy (please don’t tell him I told you so).  He’s a fantastic father.  He’s what I need and I like to think that now and then I’m good for him too.  I am blessed to have him.  I love you Josh.

I am a mother.  To these kids.  And, oh, how I adore them.  I’m sorry to all of you parents out there, but I have the best children that God ever made.  I love them more than I ever imagined I would.  They mean the absolute world to me and I’d do just about anything for either one.

I try so hard to balance life for them…keep them safe and grounded and let them know they are loved.  I love you Zekoppotomus and Deedee.

I am usually up too late.  I work a lot when the kids are sleeping.  Unfortunately for me, they like to sleep at night. 

I am addicted to Burt’s Bees Lip Balm.  A new tube is like Christmas.

I am a terrible at directions.  Terrible.

I am not functional without a cup of coffee.  It’s hard for me to make a cup of coffee before I’ve had a cup of coffee.  (It’s true, I’ve brewed entire pots of coffee without the pot–as in all over the counter and floor–more than once.)

I am always wishing for a housekeeper…If only I had a genie.  If you ever come across either…please, send them my way.

I am madly in love with LOST.  Yes.  Madly.

I am a reader and a studier.  I don’t go long without reading or learning or studying something…from photography books to Bible studies.  I love to learn.  (I know, nerd, right?)

I am a blogger.  I try to blog everyday.  I like sharing our photography and a bit about my life too.  I feel like someday I can look back and remember.

I am forgiven.  With all my heart and soul and mind and strength I want to love and serve Jesus…I am none of the above without Him.
